Our services: Striving to meet your needs

ETL works in partnership with owner-operator plating companies to assure the most cost-effective electroplating sheet metal technology implementation for upgrading any existing facility or planning for the development of a new facility. We offer several service packages to prospective and existing licensees. These include, but are not limited to:

Mr. Forand conducting a feasibility study at an electrogalvanizing operation.
Mr. Forand conducting a feasibility study at 72" (1.8 m) wide sheet metal electrogalvanizing operation.
Project Feasibility Studies determine the technical and financial viability of retrofitting ElectroJet® and/or HydroJet™ into an owner-operator’s continuous, reel-to-reel electroplating line.

Conceptual Engineering offer one or more alternative means to apply ETL’s technology to a specific type of electroplating processing line. The process section of any type of continuous, flat rolled sheet metal electroplating machine for coil processing can be designed by ETL—from horizontal lines to vertical (up & down) lines to "on-edge" reel-to-reel lines with the payoff and take-up reels holding coils "eye to the sky." Whether a retrofit job or a "greenfield" electroplating line, we can design the process section for our customer/licensee.

Site Selection for "Greenfield" Plating Facilities  ETL will manage the entire site selection process for any company interested in establishing a continuous, reel-to-reel electroplating facility in the USA for flat sheet and strip material, in coil form.  We shall focus on areas critical to our client company's perceived market.  In conducting the search for an appropriate site, ETL will assure you, the client, throughout the process that your "search criteria" are being met.  ETL will provide our clients with at least two alternative sites to select from which satisfy the search criteria.

Market Analysis  ETL will conduct for our client a detailed analysis of market opportunities that currently exist as well as emerging markets for the client's planned product mix.  We have experience in evaluating all major industry sectors in the USA

Detailed Engineering can be performed for the process section of any licensee line embodying ETL’s proprietary and patented technology for sheet metal electroplating in coil form. Detailed design drawings will be provided by ETL to enable fabrication of system components by preferred fabricators.

CAPEX Studies can be performed for prospective and existing licensees, to enable the owner-operator/licensee to obtain the necessary capital for project implementation—whether such funding will be from internal or external sources.

Technical Information provides licensees with full disclosure of the "know-how" and theories behind ETL’s developments as well as numerous means of applying ElectroJet and HydroJet technology to various types of electroplating lines/machines. This is done under the terms of a Technical Information License Agreement.

Patent Rights: Wherever applicable, ETL shall grant its licensees the rights to practice the claims of its patented inventions, under a Patent License Agreement.

And you can be sure you will receive the highest quality of service. That’s because ETL has strategic business alliances with some of the world’s largest metals companies and electronic materials companies. While these alliances with multi-billion dollar companies remain confidential, they significantly extend ETL’s global reach and ability to provide state-of-the-art technology and service solutions to our worldwide licensees.
